Online Pop Song Composing Competition 网络流行歌曲创作比赛条规

Rules & Regulations：

1. Submitting more than one song is permitted. All songs must be local works, on tapes or CDs, not copyrighted, while performers   must not be contracted under any record company.
2. Permissible languages for songs are English, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese.
3. Each song demo must be recorded with accompany of at least one type of musical instrument.
4. Song demos must be clear, otherwise will be disqualified.
5. Group or individual works are both acceptable, provided at least one of the songwriters (the lyrics writer or music composer) is a current UMS student.
6. Song criteria: healthy lyrics content which does not consist any negative intention or violation to racial and religious harmony. Songs to be submitted are preferably to be creative and must be in complete structure.
7. Works which are yet to be selected will not be used or published, to protect right of songwriters.
8. Any works found not meeting contest rules or 
9. requirements will be disqualified without any notice.
10. All submitted song demos will not be returned.Contest result bases on Incubator’s final decision, any complaint will not be entertained.

Song Writer Criteria

1. Limited to UMS students only.
2. Any race.
3. Registration fee：RM 5 (pay to treasurer unit of Incubator Workshop on the date of demo submission)

Contest Details

1. Registration duration: 23 Feb 2015 to 27 Feb 2015
2. Registration procedure: submit personal details (song title, performer, name of lyrics and music writer, age, housing address and contact number) to incubatorworkshop@gmail.com, and name the subject of the mail as ‘Incubator Workshop Online Pop Song Composing Contest Registration’
3. Date of demo submission: 28 Feb 2015 to 1 Mar 2015
4. Way of demo submission: hand your own demo to the secretary.
   Venue: UMS library foyer
   Time: 2-6pm
5. Date of voting: 9-15 Mar 2015
6. Way of voting: Through Incubator Workshop FB page, like the songwriter’s demo which had been uploaded
7. Result basis: 60% FB ‘likes’ + 40% judging panels
8. All contest requirements are reserved under Incubator Workshop, included the right over ending contest or changing rules.

If songwriter could not submit demos to secretary in the duration as stated (28 Feb to 1 Mar 2015), please personally contact secretary for any other ways of submission and submission must be done by 7 Mar 2015.

Rewards

Champion: Complete song production

All contestants songwriters for Online Pop Songwriter Contest are granted with the chance to attend Incubator Workshop Annual Music Sharing Concert (tentatively to be held on April). A guitar, an ukulele and a keyboard will be prepared.

比赛规则

1. 参赛者可以提交多于一首的创作，作品必须是本地创作歌曲，并且未经灌录成声带或唱片， 不受任何版权公司的约束，同时演者必须不属于任何唱片公司。
2. 参赛者作品的语言必须只能包含中文，马来文，英文及粤语。
3. 参赛者的demo必须以录音或录影的方式呈现，而且得至少有一种乐器伴奏。
4. 参赛者的demo必须清晰，否者参赛资格被取消。
5. 作品可属单独创作或集体创作，唯作词人或作曲人其中一位必须是沙大学生。
6. 歌曲评选要求：词意必须主旨健康，无不良意识，也不违反宗教及种族和谐精神。词曲务   求能够配合，又创意及在结构上的完整。
7. 未入选的作品不会被主办单位擅自使用，发表或灌录，以保护参赛者的权益。
8. 如有作品被发现不符合参赛规则，大会有权在不通知的情况下取消参赛资格。
9. 所有参赛作品demo一概不能退回。
10. 比赛成绩以主办单位的决定为最后决定，一切投诉一概不受理。

参赛条件

1. 只限沙大学生参加。
2. 种族不拘。
3. 报名费：RM 5 （提交给音谷贝特财政(与提交demo同一天）

赛制

1. 报名日期：2015年2月23日至2015年2月27日
2. 报名方式：请把个人资料 （歌曲名字，原唱者及作词作曲人中英文名字，年龄，住家地址，电话号码）上传至音谷贝特邮件 incubatorworkshop@gmail.com，并在信息题目栏里注明‘音谷贝特网络流行歌曲创作比赛报名’
3. 提交demo日期：2015年2月28日至 2015年3月1日
4. 提交demo方式：请把自己的demo提交至音谷贝特秘书手中。地点：UMS图书馆大门前面，时间：下午2点至6点
5. 投票日期：2015 年 3月9 日至 2015 年 3 月15日
6. 投票方式：通过音谷贝特面子书里，在自己喜欢的参赛者demo里按赞
7. 评分方式：60% 面子书的‘赞’ + 40% 听审团
8. 音谷贝特保留所有比赛的条例，包括终止比赛或更改比赛规则的权利

备注：如有参赛者在2月28号至3月1号指定时间内不能提交影片，请务必在3月2号至3月7号之间私下联络秘书以方便提交影片。
